Review on phytoremediation of uranium-contaiminated soil

The large quantity uranium mining caused a certain degree of radioactive pollution to soil, which produced great harmful to human and environment. With the advantages of low cost and environmental-friendly, phytoremediation technology has become a new way to solve the problem of uranium pollution. Current situation of phytoremediation technology application on heavy metal pollution, and progress of researches on application of hyperaccumulator in uranium pollution soil management were reviewed in this study. Besides, problems in the development of phytoremediation technology, some strengthening measures and the development trend of this technology were also illuminated.
