Review on the response of warm-season turfgrass to drought stress

Drought is one of the main environmental stress factors that influence the growth of warm-season turfgrass. Resent researches on morphological, physiological, biochemical and genetic response of stem, leaf and root of warm-season turfgrass to drought stress were reviewed in this study. Besides, a research direction of this field that, future studies should focus on genetic response of warm-season turfgrass to drought stress, then morphological, physiological and biochemical resposes, was came up.
