Implications of international animal husbandry industrialization for the grassland agriculture development in China - Taking the United States, Australia and Denmark as an example

The development of grassland agriculture is an important focal point for China to realize the structural reform of agricultural supply side. Promoting the modernization of grassland agriculture and accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading are important measures to coordinate the production and ecology of grassland agriculture. This study summarizes the experience of animal husbandry industrialization in the United States, Australia and Denmark, in order to provide reference for the development of grassland agriculture in China. The results show that the perfect animal husbandry industry system in foreign countries is inseparable from the specialization and organization of management, and the management section is dominated by farmers and cooperatives or enterprises who cooperate based on contract, which helps enhance the production efficiency. Animal husbandry in many developed countries has developed from single animal production to a combination of animal husbandry and crop production, which not only improves the efficiency, but also considers ecological production and sustainable development of animal husbandry. Additionally, the high educational attainment of agricultural management participants has laid a solid talent support for the modernization of animal husbandry. The experience of the international animal husbandry industrialization can provide reference for the development of grassland agriculture in China and promote its sustainable development.
