Exploring the teaching reform and practice of cattle breeding by integrating “intelligent breeding” and school-enterprise cooperation in “dual” education

  • Cattle Rearing is an important basic professional course with strong practical applicability for animal science majors in higher agricultural and forestry colleges and universities in China. Improving the teaching methods of cattle raising and enhancing the quality of teaching can prepare high-quality professionals for the development of the cattle industry of China. This approach can effectively promote the industry’s transformation and upgrading towards scaling up, intensification, informatization, and intelligentization, while enhancing farming technology and efficiency. This study analyzes the challenges in the teaching process of “cattle breeding” and suggests reform ideas and measures. By incorporating an “intelligent breeding” course system and implementing a school-enterprise “dual” education model with an application-oriented teaching reform approach, students can be encouraged to learn positively and actively, and enhance their knowledge on comprehensive application. By incorporating a “smart farming” course system and a school-enterprise “dual” education model, the practical and applied teaching reform mode can mobilize learning initiative, enhance comprehensive knowledge application ability and practical ability, and improve comprehensive quality of the students, so as to provide composite talents for the healthy and efficient development of the modern animal husbandry of China.
