Exploring the framework of an observation data fusion system based on an integrated platform of natural resource element observations

  • With the introduction of the theory that mountains, forests, fields, lakes, and grasses are a community of life, and the rise of technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, 5G, and the Internet of Things, natural resource management is gradually shifting towards refinement, informatization, and intelligence. The Ministry of Natural Resources launched the “Integrated Natural Resources Observation Network Project” in 2019, building an integrated platform for collecting, managing, analyzing, and applying natural resource observation data. The open sharing of natural resource observation data is key to realizing the unified management of natural resources. Therefore, by systematically analyzing the current situation of natural resource data management at home and abroad, and based on advanced foreign experiences and practices, this study explores and constructs a framework for the integration of natural resource observation data based on the integrated platform of natural resource observation elements, to provide inspiration and ideas for the integration, management, and sharing of massive multi-source heterogeneous observation data of natural resources. In this study, the framework of natural resource observation data fusion was initially explored and constructed to provide insight and practical assistance for integrating and managing heterogeneous observation data from multiple sources.
