Effect of ureamolasses nutrient block on sheep in cold season

Totally 60 Mongolian sheep were selected and randomly divided into 3 groups to study the effect of ureamolasses nutrient block (UMNB) in cold season (Group 1: 100 g of corn and 200 g of UMNB per day; Group 2: supplied with by 300 g of corn per day; Group 3: control, full grazing on pasture without supplement). The results indicate that daily weight gain of Group 1 was 205.65 g higher than that in Group 3 (P 0.01) and 58.87 g higher than that in Group 2 (P 0.01); the average benefit per head in Group 1 was 41.99 RMB Yuan higher than that in Group 3 and 21.14 RMB Yuan higher than that in Group 2.
