Responses of Lespedeza davurica seedling growth to residue aqueous extractof three forages

  • The study on growth character of Lespedeza davurica under the aqueous extract of three dominant forages (Stipa bungeana, L.davurica and Artemisia capillaris) was conducted. The results showed that the aqueous extracts from the residue of donor plants inhibited the elongation and dry weight of seedling obviously. S.bungeana and A.capillaris showed the inhibit effect on the dry weight of root when the aqueous extracts was at a high concentration, the elongation of root was also influenced but not significant. L.davurica showed the negative effect on itself only at a high concentration. It indicated that the aqueous extracts from residues of three forages have the potential of inhibition function, and the inhibition effect was sensitive to concentration.
