Study on technological innovations in forage grass management

  • This study utilized innovation and information technology to analyze developing trends in global pasture field management. The China Intellectual Property Right Net (CNIPR) and global technology information and operation platform (IncoPat) were used as patent classification data sources for analysis from a macro level and multiple perspectives, by combining quantitative research with cluster analysis. The comprehensive technology levels of the world’s major countries in pasture management were evaluated. The core patents, patent technology layout, and the status of competition with respect to pasture management were compared with those existing in China. The results provide important industrial technical information for China to improve forage field practices and optimize the allocation of related resources, thereby enhancing the overall competitiveness of China's forage field.
